Adi Kailash
Adi Kailash, also known as Shiv Kailash, Chhota Kailash, Baba Kailash or Jonglingkong Peak, is a mountain located in the Himalayan Mountain range in the Pithoragarh district of Uttarakhand. It is the second highest in a group of five distinct Himalayan peaks. Important peak. The different places are collectively known as Panch Kailash or “Five Kailash”, with Mount Kailash in first place in importance, Shikhar Kailash (Shrikhand Mahadev Kailash) in third, Kinnaur Kailash in fourth and Manimahesh is Kailash. Gauri Kund (Jolingkong Lake) and Parvati Tal glacial lakes are at the base of Adi Mountain. Adi Kailash and Limpiyadhura Pass
(further northwest of Adi Kailash) both lie northwest of Gunji.
OM Parvat
Om Mountain is a mountain located in Darchula District, Byash, Nepal. The height of Om Parvat peak is 5,590 meters (18,340 ft) above sea level. It is accessed by the paved motorable Pithoragh-Lipulekh Pass Highway (PLPH) NH-9 along the Kali River (Sharda River), via a spur along the Snowy River from Nabhidhang to Om Parvat. From the Gunji fork, the route to Adi Kailash leads northwest through the Kuthi valley along the Kuthi Yankati River. Mount Kailash in Tibet can be seen from India from the old Lipulekh Pass which lies north-east of Gunji (the pass is motorable via NH-9) and the Limpiyadhura Pass (via Kuthi Valley) which is located north-east of Gunji. Day 01: Kathgodam to Pithoragarh ( 200 Kms/ approx. 8hrs drive) 1700m.
07:00 AM will depart from Kathgodam to Pithoragarh, on the way we will visit Kainchi Dham, Chetai Golu Devta temple and Jageshwar dham. Warm welcome in Pithoragarh hotel and overnight stay
Day 02: Pithoragarh to Dharchula (90kms/ approx. 4hrs drive) 940m.
After early breakfast drive to Dharchula from Pithoragarh. Arrival at Dharchula. On reaching Dharchula we get Paperwork for Inner line Permit done. We need inner line permit for today as we almost touch International border of Nepal today. Dinner and Overnight stay at Hotel.
Day 03: Dharchula – Village Nabi (85 Kms/ 6 Hrs) 3048m
Morning after breakfast we will visit Nabi, a beautiful village no less mysterious than the “Pandora” of Navi (ref: Avatar). This route is a fairyland full of stunning views of mountains hanging from cliffs and flowing rivers. On the way to Nabi, we will also visit beautiful villages like Malpa (Desolate), Budhi, Chialek, Garbyang, Gunji, and Nepalchu. This village is the base camp of Adi Kailash; here you can feel the real experience of Himalayan culture. Overnight stay at home (common washroom) in Nabi village. And get ready for finger-licking food.
Day 04: Om Parvat Visit (22 kms drive approx) 4500m.
Darshan of Om mountain early in the morning. About 2 hours by vehicle to reach Om Parvat. Where you can see the “Miracle of Nature”! Where snow is spread on the mountain in the shape of Om. After visiting Om Parvat, relax there, try to meditate and feel the real blessings of Shiva. Later visit Kalapani (subject to permission) then back to our Finding Shiva community, evening walk to Finding Shiva Mankamana Temple and cultural program (subject to availability of artists). Overnight stay in Nabi village.
Day 05: Village Nabi – Adi Kailash (38 Kms Approx 3 Hrs)
This day, we will leave early in the morning to visit Adi Kailash – the most ancient abode of Lord Shiva. Don’t forget to set your sights on the Pandav Fort in Kuti village. After reaching Jolinkong we will go to Parvati Sarovar on a 2 km trek. The journey can be extended to Gauri Kund just below Mount Adi Kailash, but only if health permits as it is
close to 5000 meters and high enough to achieve AMS. Over Night stay at Nabi village
Day 06: Village Nabi- Dharchula (85KMs / 6 Hrs approx.)
After morning breakfast, we will return to Dharchula. Evening free for visit Nepal and shopping, Dinner and overnight stay at Hotel in Dharchula.
Day 07: Dharchula– Patalbhuvneshar (176KMs/ approx 6hrs) 1350m.
Post breakfast drive to Patalbhuvneshar along with panoramic view of Shivalik ranges and Himalayan villages. Visit Patalbhuvneshar cave, than check in to Resort/Hotel for overnight stay.
Day 08: Patalbhuvneshar to Kathgodam (200 km/approx. 8hrs drive).
Post breakfast drive to Kathgodam railway station with unforgettable spiritual moments. Trips is end here with beyond life and Death experiences.
